Summer construction and public access

Summer is our busiest season for construction projects across the district. Several projects will be visible to the public and may affect access to certain facilities and areas. We ask everyone to respect construction zones, observe posted closures and stay outside fenced work areas for safety.

Bonney Lake High School

• Tennis courts: Closed June 22–July 17 (weather permitting) for court resurfacing.

• Building expansion project: Construction begins June 23. Work areas will be clearly marked and fenced, and access to construction zones will be restricted.

Donald Eismann Elementary School

• New turf field: Construction started May 4 and continues throughout the summer, with completion anticipated in fall 2026.

• Parking lot expansion and traffic improvements: The parking lot will close beginning June 17 to allow for expanded parking and improved vehicle queuing. Completion is anticipated in fall 2026.

Lakeridge Middle School

• Parking lot expansion and extended queuing lane: Construction began June 1 and continues through the summer, with completion anticipated in fall 2026.

• Campus access and parking will remain available during construction.

Sumner High School – Sunset Stadium

• Facility improvements: Various improvement projects that are expected to be completed by fall 2026.

• Significant closures are not anticipated.
