SBLSD students volunteer to fill sandbags

A group of people, both adults and children, standing in front of a large barn-like structure, with various supplies and equipment visible in the background.

Sumner High School football players and Bonney Lake High School JROTC cadets spent hours in the rain filling hundreds of sandbags at the City of Sumner’s Maintenance Shop after school.

Just as the community gives to our students, they like to give back to the community. Watch this video for a behind-the-scenes look at how the bags are filled and hear the gratitude of community support from a couple of our star SHS state football championship players, Lance McGee and Elias Isaacs.
