Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program

The Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP) partners with school districts around the state to give students the knowledge they will  be admitted to the schools listed if they meet the criteria listed below before they even apply:  

  • You have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • You have completed or are on track to complete by fall 2024 all the College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADRs)
  • Your school has an agreement with the participating universities and college to be part of the program

If all of these are true, you are guaranteed to be admitted to all six participating Washington four-year, public institutions.

  • Central Washington University
  • Eastern Washington University
  •  The Evergreen State College
  • University of Washington Tacoma
  • Washington State University
  • Western Washington University

Additionally,  the Sumner- Bonney Lake School District has partnered with Pacific Lutheran University for their Automatic Admissions program. Students that meet the following criteria  will gain automatic admissions and potential scholarship to attend PLU:
